Molten glass takes on a personality and characteristics of its own; this piece shows what happens when an artist provides a set of guidelines, but allows the material to fall and shape itself as it will. Free flowing texture is one of Lee Taylor’s favorite themes, and she loves how the play of shadows on the wall creates an additional dimension. This piece was one of the first experiments in the process of creating the ceiling installation The Harvest.
